I have an ace up my sleeve. Now that I am back in the saddle, I want to go back to the drawing board and work on the case of mistaken identity. I am willing to spend countless hours to give a down to earth description of what’s going on in the area with an ear to the ground! You get the idea, I am sure. I have used a long list of clichés!
Most people would advice budding writers to avoid clichés as they are, well, worn to the bone! The challenge is to reduce the number of clichés you use, if it is impossible to avoid them altogether. I guess it’s more of a habit than anything else. I would like to point you to this useful list of clichés I came across in Suspense.net. A large list of the most commonly used clichés. Tongue in cheek perhaps they use one themselves when they say ” Clichés, Avoid Them Like The Plague”.
By and large, this is clear as a bell! 😉
Thanks for pointing out that list.
