#Writing: A Hashtag to Follow on Twitter

Most authors are on Twitter these days. You have to be, to tell the world about your writing and learn from others how they improve their writing skills. I follow the hashtag #writing very closely. I must confess that I have gained a lot from simply reading the links provided after the tweets with this hashtag. I have also developed my social network in the process. Aren’t You On Twitter?

I have been on Twitter for a while now. I took to what was then a relatively new experience in August 2007, which now seems oh so long ago!  I would recommend that if you are an author, you really should be on Twitter too. If, however, you already are on Twitter, then much of what I have to say may already been known to you. Twitter Hashtags

Increasingly many writers, authors, readers, literary agents and publishers amongst others use Twitter. To share their thoughts and ideas, develop new perspectives, keep track of trends and chat with other like-minded folk. Their tweets are looked forward to and one follow’s someone whose  thoughts, ideas etc we enjoy by way of their tweets. They in turn may choose to follow you if they find your tweets of interest.
