I am terribly excited as later today I am organizing an event which, for me, is unique in two respects. Firstly, I am having a Virtual Book Launch for which I have created an event on Facebook. This is scheduled for 7.00 p.m. to 8.00 p.m. Indian Standard Time on April 26. In the event, I have mentioned what this means for you in terms of your local time should you be living in San Francisco, Boston, London, Singapore or Sydney. I would be happy if you could join us, and feel free to share this with friends and family who might be interested. Continue reading “Virtual Book Launch of “Let The Dead Stay Dead” Today!”
Here’s a video I made to announce the launch of my second thriller, “Lucky For Some, 13.” I hope you will like it. Your comments and feedback are welcome as always.
Here’s more exciting news! “Lucky For Some, 13” is now available on pre order at HomeShop18. At this price, it’s a steal!
The book launch for this thriller, my second after “It Can’t Be You” is scheduled for Saturday, December 1, 2012 at the Reliance TimeOut store at Mantri Square, one of Bangalore’s finest malls.
Does this sound like the title of a best-selling book on how to make your book launch a terrific success? At last I have found the time to put together a few pictures of the book launches for “It Can’t Be You.” Seeing them now, nearly two years after the book was launched gives me great pleasure.
Time flies and very soon, I’ll be celebrating the second anniversary of the launch of my debut novel, the psychological thriller, “It Can’t Be You.” It brings back many memories as for every writer the first published novel is a special creation, quite irrespective of what others may think of it!
If you think you can sit back and relax now that your precious book has been sent off to the publishers, you are in for a major surprise. The more difficult part of selling the book kicks in right now. There is so much that you need to do as the author. If you are an author waiting for your first book to be published, have a look at Terry Cordingley’s post ” Five Things You Should Do Before Your Book Is Released.” It contains some basic yet crucial steps which you cannot afford to ignore.
In the process of consolidating material about my books in this one place, I thought I would share a video of the launch of my debut novel in November 2010. It was one of the happiest days of my life. “It Can’t Be You” was launched at Crossword, Bangalore by my old friend, Subroto Bagchi. I must thank my young friend, Sudeep Nayak for having taken the trouble to create this video.
November 29 filled me with nostalgia. Not for times long gone by but for a day only a year ago, which happened to be one of the happiest in my life. On November 29, 2010, at Crossword, Bangalore, my debut novel, a psychological thriller “It Can’t Be You” was launched by Subroto Bagchi, Co-Founder and Gardener of MindTree.
