Ten Commandments

If you were asked to synthesize your learnings about writing in the form of Ten Commandments, what would you say? I am sure you will find it a bit of a struggle! There is so much to say. This makes it tough to condense the essence of your experience in the form of Ten Commandments! Have a shot at it, nevertheless.

Here’s a list of the Writer’s Ten Commandments prepared by Mike Terry,  editor, freelance writer and novelist. I should thank Mike for putting together a very comprehensive list in a simple manner. In my experience, the problem we face is paying  too much attention or devoting too much time to one or the other of the commandments in Mike’s list! Isn’t the secret of success being able to balance all of these- even as we enjoy writing?
