The excitement is palpable and there are only 4 days to go for the launch of ny debut novel “It Can’t Be You”. This is being published by Cedar Books, an imprint of Pustak Mahal, one of India’s largest publishing houses. The book will be released by an old friend, Subroto Bagchi, Vice-Chairman and Gardener of MindTree Ltd, himself an author of repute.
The launch will take place at Crosswords, one of Bangalore’s biggest and most popular book stores. I like the ambience there and find the staff courteous and efficient. Shortly, I guess sometime next week, the book will be available on Amazon, from where it can be downloaded. It can also be ordered on-line not only from Pustak Mahal but also from Flipkart and other on-line sellers.
I was delighted to see the posters outside Crossword announcing the book launch. It brought home to me the fact that in a few days time a cherished dream would be realised. Of becoming a published author.
I have done my bit. I hope readers will enjoy reading the book as much as I have enjoyed writing it.
