I am thrilled to say that my name has been added to the list of published authors in the National Novel Writing Month’s web site. When I first heard of NaNoWriMo one thing that struck me was that some of the successful participants had gone on to publish novels.
This meant they used the 50,000 words written by them in a NaNoWriMo as a base and developed this to form a full-fledged novel. They then had this published either in the next year or some time in the future. I was greatly encouraged by this feat and was inspired to emulate those who had got their novels published like this before me.
“It Can’t Be You”, my debut novel, is based on my effort in the NaNoWriMo of November 2009. It was published by Cedar Books, imprint of Pustak Mahal in November 2010. Like I was inspired a couple of years ago, I hope others will be inspired by my effort to have their novels published. Truly, NaNoWriMo is an awesome experience.
