I was delighted to accept an invitation to do a book reading for members of iBrowse, a book lovers club in Bangalore, India where I live. They have a laudable system where they invite authors to speak about their books.

The very popular portal, Good Reads has a section on Popular Indian Authors Books. ICBY lists in the 151-200 out of the 346 books listed. In another list titled , Popular Contemporary Indian Authors,, ICBY’s author, your truly, lists in the 1-50 out of 133 authors listed.
Just because I love Words…
Words are particularly difficult little creatures to organise. They have minds of their own and will misbehave if not treated with respect. Some of them have inferiority complexes! Usually, the large words engage the writer’s efforts. Then the little words feel ignored. Out of spite they will change the sense of something so subtly. This is why, out of politeness, I try to court them by avoiding the larger and more impressive words that strut across the page creating the illusion of self-importance. Thank you, Maria for this comprehensive list. It will act as an effective reminder for me as I am sure it will for many others.
