Aren’t You On Twitter?

I have been on Twitter for a while now. I took to what was then a relatively new experience in August 2007, which now seems oh so long ago!  I would recommend that if you are an author, you really should be on Twitter too. If, however, you already are on Twitter, then much of what I have to say may already been known to you. Are you using Pinterest, Mr. Author?

It’s become a cliché now to say that writing is only a small part of the author’s job. There is so much to do in the realm of marketing, branding and so on, that one sometimes winders if more time is spent on these activities than on the core activity of writing itself.  I can’t recall who led me to starting an author page on Pinterest.
