Pub crawling , yes but blog crawling? That’s what I do to keep in touch with what writers all over the world have to say about their books and the craft of writing. They describe the books they are writing, the ones they are reading and share many thoughts and experiences. In today’s list, I start with Suspense Novelist by Peg Brantley, a Colorado based writer of suspense. Here’s what she has to say, ” I have a love/hate relationship with writing. It is without a doubt one of the hardest things I’ve ever done. But nothing I’ve ever done is this rewarding. Writing, no matter how long you’ve been at it, will humble you in a flash.” Well said, Peg!
A post I liked speaks of reading styles. I feel chapters are essential for writers to structure their story but as a reader I haven’t really noticed whether I am at the start or the end of a chapter! If you are absorbed in your reading, does it really matter? What has been your experience?
Another blog I would recommend to you is “Suspense Your Disbelief”. You will love Jenny Milchman’s blog, as I did. Here you come across many different authors. They are of different ages, they come from diverse backgrounds and they write about different subjects but they have one thing in common, a great passion for writing.
Thank you, Prem, for the shout out and mention also of Peg Brantley’s terrific blog!
Jenny, you are most welcome. It was my pleasure to read your blogs.
