Are you on for the A to Z Blogging Challenge?

I am eagerly looking forward to April 1, 2014 for that’s when the A to Z Challenge for Bloggers kicks off. I have done this in the past and found it very interesting. What’s it about?

  1. You post 26 blog posts during the month of April 2014, with 1 for each day of the month excluding Sundays in your designated blog.
  2. As the title suggests, the aim is to post on topics starting with the letter ” A” on April 1, “B” on April 2 and so on till you get to ” Z” on April 30.
  3. You can blog on any topic of your choice but should you wish to you can specify that you will blog on a particular “theme” from the many on offer. I haven’t opted for this in the forthcoming challenge to retain greater flexibility but for example if you are sure all your posts will be on writing, you could opt for “WR-Writing.” Do remember to mention this in the signing on process.
  4. The big gain from this challenge is not only your writing every day but improving on your social networking. You are encouraged, indeed expected to visit other participating blogs and leave your views etc. This helps develops contacts as others do the same for you. Visiting 5 other blogs per day is generally considered par for the course.

So as I said, this sounds very exciting. Do sign on if this interests you. I can assure you that it is well worth your time and effort.

  1. I’ve entered Prem – glad to see you have too. This time I’m doing it according to a theme and getting (hopefully) my posts done beforehand.
    Where is your A-Z badge?

    1. Got the badge, Susan and all set to go. The check list in the A to Z Challenge site was very useful. I had to make some last minute changes in my blog structure, as you would have noticed:)

  2. First I heard about this I may give it a shot. Trying to decide between more blogging or write my second book. In my experience I have trouble doing both at same period of time
