Today I write about a few blog posts that caught my attention. They were informative to me and added to my knowledge and perspective on topics I would like to follow. The first one was an interview with Barry Eisler in the New York Observer. Mr. Eisler speaks of how he views the future of publishing. Continue reading “What Caught My Attention”
As I mentioned in my Facebook Page, I have 762 friends on Facebook, but do realize that all of them need not be my fans.Though I wish they were. Likewise,
all my fans are not necessarily my friends on Facebook! It had to happen sometime. It’s happening now. I am consolidating all my writing stuff in a new Facebook Page called, what else but “Prem Rao, Story Teller”.
The content, especially the pictures may be old for some of the more recent fans, but hopefully the old ones will put up with them for the time being. The process of transition is a gradual one.
I have started a new blog called “Prem Rao-Stories from a Story Teller” to consolidate all my writing projects in one place. I hope you will drop in and offer your comments/feedback.
I have started a new blog. Do I hear you say “What ! One more?” Yes, it’s one more.

Continue reading “TIME list of Best Non-Fiction”
Hi-Fi, yes; Wi-Fi too but Fi-Fi? In case you are foxed, Fi-Fi stands for finance fiction. In the larger ambit of the thriller genre, here comes one more- the financial thriller. Continue reading “On My Reading List- H.T. Narea”
It’s been over 8 months since ICBY was released and I am glad it continues to have brisk sales! It is currently offered with a 20 % discount at Flipkart. As mentioned in past posts, I feel great to see ICBY consistently feature within the top 70 in the list of titles under the “Suspense” category in Flipkart.
Thanks to a tweet by K M Weiland, I was pointed to this fascinating interview in Writer’s Digest. Two masters of writing thrillers- Ken Follett and David Morrell speak of the craft of writing thrillers. They are household names and need no introduction to those interested in the thriller genre. Continue reading “Learning from the Masters”
In my understanding historical fiction is a genre in which you portray real life people and incidents in a fictitious setting. Here is what Wikipedia has to say about historical fiction. Continue reading “Historical Fiction”
